1. Standard suction head

Standard suction head (that is, ordinary suction head) is the most widely used suction head, but also the most affordable class of suction head, other types of suction head are also evolved from the standard suction head. If there are no special requirements, most pipetting needs can be met by using standard suction heads.

2. Low adsorption head

The surface of the low adsorption head has been treated with hydrophobic treatment, which can reduce the surface tension of the liquid left more residue in the head

In general, when the liquid is discharged, a part of it will remain in the inside of the suction head, no matter what experiment is done, it will cause a certain result error.

If this error is within an acceptable range, an ordinary suction head can be selected for use. However, for experiments with high sensitivity requirements, or precious samples or reagents that are easy to remain, low adsorption heads need to be selected in order to obtain more accurate experimental results and higher recovery of precious samples.

3. Filter element suction head

Filter element suction head is a suction head designed to avoid cross contamination. The sample removed by the filter cartridge suction head will not enter the inside of the thus protecting the pipette components contamination and corrosion, and more importantly, ensuring that there is no cross-contamination between the samples. Filter suction heads are often used in molecular biology, cytology, virology and other experiments.
