Structural distinction

Suction head with filter element: Inside the suction head near the suction mouth, a special filter material is installed, usually made of polypropylene (PP), glass fiber or other polymer materials. This layer of filter element divides the inner space of the suction head into two parts, which can effectively block the passage of liquid and impurities.

Suction head without filter element: The structure is relatively simple, is a complete hollow tubular structure, no additional filter parts, from the tip of the suction head to the end connected with the pipette for a smooth channel.

Strong anti-pollution ability: this is its most important function. It can effectively prevent liquid backsuction into the pipette, avoid cross-contamination between samples, and filter out impurities in the samples to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the experimental results. When conducting gene sequencing, PCR experiments and other experiments that require high sample purity and accuracy, the filter cartridge suction can greatly reduce the experimental error.

Protect the pipette: the filter element can block particles and chemicals in the liquid to prevent them from entering the inside of the pipette, so as to protect the key components of the pipette piston, sealing ring and so on, and extend the service life of the pipette.

No filter element suction

Basic absorption function: It only has the function of conventional absorption and transfer of liquid, which can meet some experiments or daily liquid handling work with low pollution control requirements.

No filtration and protection: Because there is no filter element, it can not filter impurities, and it can not prevent the pollution and damage caused by liquid backsuction on the pipette.
